Illustration for FenCon II - a science fiction convention in Dallas. That year's theme was "What If..." so we have a Roman Legionary soldier claiming the moon for Rome. Open space has been left on the right side of the picture for a list of convention guests. Pen-and-ink drawing based on Apollo 11 photo of Buzz Aldrin, colorized in Photoshop.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
