Highlander

An illustration I did for the heck of it a few years ago - finally got it scanned in, and stitched back together in Photoshop. Mostly an excuse for me to experiment with shading techniques. This was all done from imagination (no reference pics - it's purely the product of my fevered imagination) in inks - brushes and pens. Took a few hours - I honestly don't remember how many.

Some will point out that the bagpipes don't quite look right. In my defense, modern bagpipes have only existed in their current form for a couple of hundred years. Before that, there were all kinds of variations, so these are at least...plausible.
